Return Window

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • In the same condition that you received it
  • Unused
  • In its original packaging
  • Accompanied by your receipt or proof of purchase

Paper Vine Kits: Minor damage to a few individual paper vine rods is acceptable and will not affect return eligibility, as long as the majority of the kit contents remain unused and in good condition. Items damaged due to improper storage, handling, or use contrary to included instructions are not eligible for return.

Please follow the included care instructions to ensure your paper vine products maintain their quality and durability.

Paper Vine Color Variation - Not Grounds for Return

Important Notice: Our paper vine is hand-dyed using traditional manual processes, which creates the natural, artisanal character that makes each piece unique. As a result:

  • Color may vary slightly from batch to batch - Each production run may have subtle color differences
  • Color may vary from rod to rod within the same batch - Individual rods may show slight color variations
  • Each rod displays uneven color distribution - Creating a naturally spotty or grainy appearance throughout the rod
  • This variation is intentional and desirable - The manual dying process creates the exclusive, handcrafted look that distinguishes our products

These natural color variations are inherent characteristics of our manual dying process and are not considered defects. Returns based solely on color variation, spotting, or grainy appearance will not be accepted, as these features are fundamental to the artisanal nature of our paper vine products.

Our product photos aim to represent the general color family, but individual rods will display the natural variation described above.

How to Start a Return

You can initiate a return in two ways:

  1. Through your account: Log into your account at https://account.weevyn.com and start a return request
  2. By email: Contact us at returns@weevyn.com with your order number and reason for return

Once you submit your return request, we'll contact you via email with further instructions on how to proceed. We reserve the right to request photos of the item if needed to assess the return.

Important: Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Return Shipping

We'll provide you with a prepaid return shipping label. The cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund amount when we process your return.

For expensive made-to-order items or if you have concerns about your purchase, we encourage you to contact us at returns@weevyn.com first. We may be able to resolve the issue without requiring a return.

Product-Specific Return Policies

Made-to-Order Items

Our handcrafted, made-to-order items can be returned within the 30-day window, provided they meet our standard return conditions.

Weaving Kits & Tool Kits

  • Beginner's Weaving Kits and Weaving Tool Kits: All components should be unused and in original packaging
  • Paper Vine Refill Kits: Kits with different color combinations can be exchanged; minor damage to individual rods is acceptable

Damages and Quality Issues

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. Contact us at returns@weevyn.com within 48 hours of delivery if:

  • The item is defective or damaged
  • You received the wrong item
  • Any components are missing from your kit
  • The package shows signs of shipping damage

Important: Damage claims must be reported within 48 hours to ensure we can file successful claims with our shipping carriers. After this timeframe, we may not be able to recover shipping costs or provide full compensation for damaged items.

We thoroughly inspect every item before shipping, so quality issues are rare but will be resolved quickly when they occur.

Note: Natural color variations described in this policy are not considered quality issues or defects.

Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns on:

  • Gift cards
  • Items that show clear signs of use beyond normal inspection
  • Items returned without prior authorization
  • Paper vine products returned solely due to natural color variations, spotting, or grainy appearance inherent to our manual dying process

Exchanges

We offer exchanges for different sizes, colors, or products. Exchanges must be initiated by emailing returns@weevyn.com with your order number and exchange request. You'll be responsible for return shipping costs, and we'll provide a prepaid return label with the cost deducted from any refund due or charged separately for even exchanges.

Color exchanges: While we offer different color options, please note that all colors will display the natural variation characteristics described in this policy.

Refunds

  1. We'll notify you once we receive and inspect your returned item
  2. You'll be informed whether your refund is approved
  3. If approved, you'll receive a full refund to your original payment method (minus return shipping costs)
  4. Refunds are processed within 10 business days
  5. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to post the refund
